Dr. Ilya Lipkin has been using MSE and MARPE in his practice since 2011 and has completed over 850 skeletal expansion cases, half of them adults ranging in age from 30 to 69. That number matters. It means his teaching is the distillation of a decade and a half of doing this procedure in real practice, on real patients, through every variation and complication the procedure can produce. He earned his dental degree at NYU College of Dentistry and completed his residency in orthodontics at NYU's Department of Post-Graduate Orthodontics. He went on to train in the Roth-Williams philosophy, which grounds orthodontic treatment in the full chewing system including jaw joints, not teeth alone. That systems-level thinking runs through everything he teaches.
