DOC: DeLuke Orthodontic Coaching
Michael DeLuke, DDS, MDS, Diplomate ABO
Dr. Mike DeLuke built a multimillion-dollar orthodontic practice from scratch, retired at 46, and then turned around and devoted everything he knew to teaching colleagues how to do the same. The courses, the coaching, and the podcast are not three different things. They are one continuous process about what airway orthodontics can be when clinical excellence and professional success stop being treated as separate goals.

Dr. Mike DeLuke
Dr. Michael DeLuke graduated cum laude from Villanova University, earned his DDS from SUNY Stony Brook as class Valedictorian with fourteen academic and clinical awards, and completed his orthodontic training at the University of Connecticut, where he received both a Certificate of Proficiency in Orthodontics and a Master of Dental Science degree, serving as Chief Resident in his final year.
He built his orthodontic practice from scratch in the early 2000s and grew it into a multimillion-dollar enterprise in less than ten years, retiring from private practice at 46. He has held faculty appointments at Albany Medical Center, the University of Connecticut, and Nova Southeastern University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists.
He now teaches all of it: Phase I technique, airway, arch development, practice systems, financial strategy, and guides others in the clinical thinking that ties it together.
His students describe watching their Phase I cases transform in ways they did not think possible before the course. One called it as career-defining as the first non-extraction orthopaedic course he attended in the 1980s.
That is the company Dr. DeLuke keeps.
This Is Where Clinical and Professional Growth Merge
Most continuing education addresses one thing at a time. A technique. A technology. A system. Dr. DeLuke teaches the whole picture, because in real practice the clinical and the operational are not separate problems.
His Phase I courses have reshaped how orthodontists see the developing patient, moving them from expanders and lip bumpers toward arch development approaches that produce results clinicians describe as life changing. His airway content has given practitioners the framework to recognize mouth-breathing patterns in pre-adolescent patients and act on them, rather than refer away or wait.
And when the course is over, the conversation does not have to end. One-on-one coaching picks up exactly where the curriculum leaves off.
